Our Story
WOTE Community Development Organisation (WCDO) is a non-political, non-religious, non-profit Community-Based Organisation registered under the relevant laws of the Republic of Kenya.
Founded in 2011, WCDO has been at the forefront of community development in Makueni County. We believe in the power of communities to transform their own lives when given the right support and resources.
Our approach combines community participation, partnership building, and innovative programming to address the root causes of poverty and inequality.
Our Vision
A community where all members are self-reliant and interdependent, living in a healthy, safe, and satisfying environment that enables their full potential and the sustainability of their assets.
Our Mission
To unite, empower, and build the capacity of community groups through effective mobilization, partnership, and innovative programming to reduce poverty, improve livelihoods, promote inclusive education and health, and foster sustainable community development.
